Eli Sirota Named as Athletics Communications and Social Media Specialist

CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics Mark A. Corino announced the hiring of Eli Sirota as the Athletics Communications and Social Media Specialist effective immediately.  
 
"We are excited to add a talented individual like Eli to our athletics communications staff," said Corino. "He is an experienced professional in this field and will continue to enhance our social media presence and the live streaming experience for our fans. We expect him to work with our coaches to augment their team account and provide support in the athletics communications area."
 
Sirota comes to Caldwell from Concordia College, where he was the Sports Information Director for three years. During his time at Concordia, Sirota enhanced the Clippers' social media presence with unique motion graphics and weekly video series highlighting the student-athletes and coaches on top of being the primary contact for all 12 sports on campus.
 
"I'd like to thank Mark Corino for giving me this opportunity," said Sirota. "I look forward to working with the coaches and athletic administration staff to create the best experience for our student-athletes that we can."
 
Prior to Concordia, Sirota worked for one year as the Assistant Sports information Director at Auburn University at Montgomery from 2017-18, serving as the primary contact for men's and women's cross country, volleyball, women's basketball and baseball. He also served for one year as the Assistant Director of Athletic Media Relations at the University of New Orleans from 2016-17 where he was the primary contact for volleyball, baseball and men's and women's tennis. Sirota also worked for Brevard College as the Athletic Media Relations Assistant from 2015-16, serving as the primary contact for men's and women's soccer, cross country, women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis and track and field.
 
Sirota graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., with a degree in sports management in 2014. During his tenure at Lynn, he served as a student assistant for the Knights' sports information department.
