CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell Molloy College 17-4 in a non-conference contest.

The Cougars drop to 6-4 overall while the Lions improve to 10-5.

Caldwell took the lead in the first inning as junior
Jalen March (Baltimore, Md.) led off with a walk and stole second. Senior
Tavis Brunson (Westfield, N.J.) tripled to score March later in the inning for the first run of the game.

Molloy took the lead in the second with runs and added three in the third inning with one more in the fifth for a 6-1 lead.

The Cougars added three runs in the eighth inning as senior
Luis Rullan (Bloomfield, N.J.) and Brunson singled with one out. Junior
Kyle Richards (Sayreville, N.J.) drove home two runs with a triple, while freshman
Zach Saunders (Adelphi, Md.) tripled home Richards with the final Cougar run.
