WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's lacrosse team battled Georgian Court University but the Cougars fell short 15-9 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.
The Cougars fall to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the CACC, while the Lions improve to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
Georgian Court opened the game with six unanswered goals but sophomore
Kevin Albright (Mays Landing, N.J.) broke the streak with a goal at the 3:34 mark of the first quarter. The Lions added two goals to pull ahead 8-1 late in the quarter.
Caldwell went on a three-goal run as sophomore

Jayden Paladino (Hawthorne, N.J.) ad Albright tallied goals to close the gap to 8-4 with 12:47 left in the first half.
Georgian Court netted a pair of goals to push ahead 10-4 late in the second quarter. Graduate
Chris Snow (Ledgewood, N.J.) tallied a goal just before to half to pull the Cougars to within 10-5 at halftime.
The Cougars rallied in the third quarter as they outscored the Lions 3-1. Paladino netted a pair of goals, while Albright scored to help Caldwell cut the score to 11-8 to start the final quarter.
The Lions extended their lead with four goals to start the fourth quarter. Snow added a late goal for the Cougars.
Paladino and Albright each netted three goals to lead the Cougars, while Snow added two goals and one assist.
Sophomore
Tim Livingston (Holtsville, N.Y.) played all 60 minutes and recorded 21 saves.
The Cougars host Felician University in a CACC contest on Tuesday, April 27 at 4 pm at Essex Valley Field in West Caldwell.
