PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Caldwell University women's soccer freshman 
Kasey McConnell (Shirley, N.Y.) netted the lone goal for the Cougars in a 4-1 loss to conference leader Thomas Jefferson University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
 
The Cougars fall to 2-2-1 and 2-2-1 in the CACC, while the Rams remain unbeaten at 4-0-0 and 4-0-0 in conference play.
 
The Rams broke a scoreless game with a tally in the 33rd minute of the game. Thomas Jefferson added a penalty kick with under two minutes to play in the first half for a 2-0 halftime lead.
 
Caldwell got on the board in the 59th minute to cut the score to 2-1. McConnell tallied her second goal of the season off an assist from freshman 
Ashley Georgevich (Saddle Brook, N.J.).
 
Thomas Jefferson added a pair of goals in the 71st and 85th minute of the game.
 
Junior 
Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) recorded three saves in 45 minutes, while sophomore 
Erin Emery (Teaneck, N.J.) posted four saves in 45 minutes in net.  
 
The Cougars close out the regular season as they host Georgian Court University in a CACC contest on Wednesday, March 31 at 1 pm.
