WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's lacrosse graduate Arden Kassaleh (Pompton Plains, N.J.) scored four goals as the Cougars fell to Molloy College 26-5 in their 2021 season opener.
 
The Cougars open their season at 0-1, while the Lions improve to 1-1.
 
Kassaleh netted three first half goals with her first goal of the game coming off an assist from senior Samantha Murphy (Pompton Plains, N.J.).
 
Kassaleh added a goal in the second half off an assist from junior Jenna Steelman (Mays Landing, N.J.). Sophomore Kelsey Maxwell (Center Moriches, N.Y.) scored the final Cougar goal in the waning seconds of the contest.
 
Junior Mia Monacelli (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) recorded 11 saves in the contest.
 
The Cougars host St. Thomas Aquinas College on Monday, March 15 in a non-conference game at 4 pm.
