WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's lacrosse graduate
Arden Kassaleh (Pompton Plains, N.J.) totaled seven points as the Cougars fell to St. Thomas Aquinas College 20-10 in a non-conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 0-2, while the Spartans improve to 1-1.
Caldwell netted six goals in the opening half as Kassaleh scored four of the Cougars goals. Junior
Emily Lasko (Jackson, N.J.) posted one goal and added three assists, while senior
Samantha Murphy (Pompton Plains, N.J.) recorded one goal and one assist.
Kassaleh added two goal in the second half to pace the Cougars.
Kassaleh led the Cougars with six goals, one assist and 11 draw controls. Lasko tallied two goals and three assists in the game.
Junior
Mia Monacelli (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) recorded 13 saves in the contest.
The Cougars travel to Mercy College on Wednesday, March 17 for a non-conference game at 3 pm.
