BLOOMFIELD, N.J.- Caldwell University women's volleyball senior
Olivia Bellamy (Davison, Mich.) tallied eight kills as the Cougars fell to Bloomfield College 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars fall to 2-21 overall and 2-12 in the CACC, while the Bears improve to 10-7 and 9-5 in conference play.
Bloomfield won the opening set 25-14, while the teams played two close sets with the Bears winning 25-21 and 25-20.
Bellamy led the way with eight kills and two blocks, while sophomore
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) also finished with eight kills and two blocks. Sophomore
Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) tallied seven kills, eight assists and six digs.
Junior
Mary Grace Hartmann (Cutchogue, N.Y.) posted five total blocks (two solo), while four block assists, while senior
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) added 13 assists and five digs.
Senior
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with six digs for the Cougars.
The Cougars travel to Georgian Court University for a CACC match on Saturday, November 6 at noon.
