CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to South Division leader Holy Family University 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars fall to 2-18 overall and 2-9 in the CACC, while the Tigers improve to 18-3 and 13-0 in conference play.
Holy Family took the opening set 25-16 and edged the Cougars in the second set 26-24. The Tigers closed out the match with a 25-20 third set victory.
Sophomore
Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) tallied 10 kills, six assists and 11 digs while sophomore
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) finished with seven kills and two solo blocks.
Graduate
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) totaled four kills and eight digs, while junior
Mary Grace Hartmann (Cutchogue, N.Y.) recorded three kills and three aces.
Senior
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) totaled 16 digs, while senior
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) posted 13 assists and seven digs.
The Cougars travel to Nyack College in a CACC match on Wednesday, October 27 at 7 pm.
