CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University men's soccer senior
Mateo Cobos (Newark, N.J.) scored as the Cougars were edged by Nyack College 2-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 3-9-0 and 1-7-0 in the CACC, while the Warriors improve to 7-7-0 overall and 5-3-0 in conference play.
Nyack got on the board with an early goal to take a 1-0 lead. The Warriors added to their lead with a goal in the 57th minute to push their lead to 2-0
Caldwell got on the board in the 68th minute as Cobos tallied a goal for the Cougars. The Cougars had several scoring opportunities down the stretch but could not come up with the equalizer.

Dylan Valencia (Elizabeth, N.J.) played all 90 minutes in net, finishing with three saves.
The Cougars travel to Thomas Jefferson University for a CACC contest on Saturday, October 23 at 2:30 pm.
