LAKEWOOD, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team was edged by Georgian Court University 1-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 5-8-0, and 3-5-0 in the CACC while Lions improve to 4-8-0 and 3-4-0 in conference play.
The teams battled through a scoreless first half with the Cougars holding an 8-1 shot advantage over the first 45 minutes of play.
The game remained tied deep into the second before Georgian Court netted the go-ahead goal in the 87th minute of play.

Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) played all 90 minutes in net.
The Cougars travel to Thomas Jefferson University for a CACC contest on Saturday, October 23 at 12 pm.
