ORANGEBURG, N.Y.- Caldwell University women's volleyball junior
Marina Schalepfer (Aurora, Colo.) netted 12 kills as the Cougars defeated Dominican College 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars improve to 4-9 overall and remain unbeaten in conference play at 2-0.
Caldwell won the match in three sets, 25-10, 25-14 and 24-18.
Schlaepfer led the way with 12 kills along with two aces. Junior
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) totaled eight kills and two aces, while senior
Katie Compagno (Orland, Ill.) finished with four kills and four blocks.
Freshman
Cassandra Rother (Fresno, Calif.) recorded four kills. Sophomore
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) posted 23 assists, three aces and four digs, while sophomore
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) netted nine digs.
The Cougars return home on Thursday, September 26 as they host Felician University for a CACC contest at 7 pm.
