FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell 7-3 in a non-conference game to Queens College.
The Cougars fall to 7-14 overall, while the Knights improve to 13-11-1.
Queens got on the board with a run in the opening inning to take the early lead. Caldwell took the lead in the third inning as junior

Anthony Parente (Jackson, N.J.) blasted a two-run homerun to give the Cougars a 2-1 lead.
The Knights retook the lead as they scored five runs in the fourth inning. Caldwell got a run in the sixth as junior
Jack Zosulis (East Windsor, N.J.) was hit by a pitch to start the inning. Zosulis advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on a single by junior

Michael Hess (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) took the loss in relief, as he allowed five runs on two hits with two strikeouts.
The Cougars travel to Post University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader on Wednesday, April 3 at noon .
