LANTANA, Fla.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell to #8 Southern New Hampshire University 9-2 as they continued their Florida trip on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Cougars fall to 2-1 on the season, while the nationally ranked Penmen improve to 9-3.
 
Southern New Hampshire built a 9-0 lead through eight innings.
 
Caldwell got on the board in the final inning as junior Luis Rullan (Bloomfield, N.J.) ripped a two-run double in the ninth inning.
 
Junior Raymond Ramos (Bloomfield, N.J.) fell to 0-1 as he tossed three innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on two hits with two strikeouts.
 
The Cougars continue their Florida road trip as they take on Lynn University on Monday, March 11 at Santaluces Sports Complex.
