NYACK, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team defeated Nyack College 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars improve to 10-17 overall and 8-7 in the CACC, while the Warriors drop to 7-14 and 6-9 in conference play.
Caldwell took the match in three sets, 25-15, 25-20 and 25-16.
Junior
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) led the way with 11 kills, two blocks and six digs. Junior
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) contributed 10 kills and five digs, while sophomore
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) totaled eight kills, two aces and 14 digs.
Senior
Katie Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) tallied six kills, four blocks and four digs, while sophomore
Olivia Bellamy (Davison, Mich.) posted six kills. Sophomore
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) netted 13 digs, while sophomore
Sophie Hicks (Christchurch, New Zealand) recorded 36 assists and six digs.
The Cougars host Post University for a CACC match on Thursday, November 7 at 7 pm.
