CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team lost to the University of the Sciences 3-2 in Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.

The Cougars fall to 9-17 overall and 7-7 in the CACC, while the Devils improve to 10-15 and 7-8 in conference play.

Caldwell took the first two sets 25-19 and 26-24. USciences battled back to win the next two sets 25-19 and 25-23. The Devils took the early lead in the deciding set as they won 15-8.

Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) tallied 15 kills and 16 digs, while junior
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) posted 15 kills and two blocks. Sophomore
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) chipped in 13 kills, 17 digs and four blocks, while senior
Katie Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) finished with two kills, six digs and six blocks.

Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) led the Cougars with 31 digs, while sophomore
Olivia Bellamy (Davison, Mich.) totaled five kills and two blocks. Sophomore
Sophie Hicks (Christchurch, New Zealand) netted 46 assists and 11 digs. Â
