CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team battled to a scoreless tie against Post University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars move to 6-3-3 and 5-1-3 in the CACC, while the Eagles stand at 6-6-3 and 5-4-1 in conference play.
Caldwell held the advantage in shots 14-10 for the game, with each team's goalie recording a key save in the second overtime to preserve the scoreless game.
Senior
Amber Raines (Millville, N.J.) led the Cougars with two shots on goal, while senior
Meghan Grundhauser (Easton, Pa.) and freshman
Nicole Alfano (Union, N.J.) each netted one shot on goal.
Sophomore
Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, England) recorded six saves in the game.
The Cougars host Jefferson in a CACC contest on Saturday, November 2.
