WEST HAVEN, Conn.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to the University of New Haven 3-0 in a non-conference match.
 
The Cougars fall to 5-11, while the Chargers improve to 7-5.
 
The Chargers won in three sets 25-15, 25-15 and 25-8.
 
Sophomore Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) tallied seven kills, nine digs and two blocks. Senior Katie Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) posted five kills and four blocks.
 
Sophomore Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) recorded 14 assists and five digs, while sophomore Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) totaled 13 digs.
 
The Cougars travel to Jefferson for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference cross division match on Saturday, October 5 at noon.
