BLOOMFIELD, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to Bloomfield College 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars fall to 8-15 overall and 6-5 in the CACC, while the Bears improve to 10-8 and 7-4 in conference play.
Bloomfield won the match in three sets 25-19, 25-22 and 25-17.
Sophomore
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) posted 10 kills and seven digs for the Cougars. Junior
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) added eight kills and 13 digs, while senior
Katie Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) totaled four kills.
Sophomore
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with 19 digs, while sophomore
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) collected 21 assists.
The Cougars travel to Chestnut Hill College for a CACC match on Saturday, October 26 at noon.
