CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team fell Wilmington University 4-2 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars fall to 1-8 overall and 1-7 in the CACC, while the Wildcats improve to 3-7 and 3-5 in conference play.
Senior
Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) lost at #1 singles 6-0, 6-0, while sophomore
Kiana Wiggins (Washington, N.J.) fell at #2 singles 6-1, 6-0
Sophomore
Anne Ilardi (Oak Ridge, N.J.) lost at #3 singles 6-1, 6-0, while sophomore
Lauryn Schwint (Sparta, N.J.) won at #4 singles 7-5, 6-1. Freshman
Kathryn Hurlbut (La Habra, Calif.) won her match at #5 singles.
Wiggins and Schwint lost at #1 doubles 6-0, while Jimenez and Ilardi fell at #2 doubles 6-1.
The Cougars wrap conference play as they host Jefferson on Saturday, October 19 at noon.
