CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's soccer senior
Amber Raines (Millville, N.J.) scored twice as the Cougars blanked Bloomfield College 2-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars improve to 5-3-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the CACC, while the Bears drop to 0-11-1 and 0-6-1 in conference play.
Caldwell got on the board in the 22
nd minute as Raines tallied her first goal of the day off a corner kick from senior
Meghan Grundhauser (Easton, Pa.).
The duo connected again early in the second half as Raines again found the back of the net of Grundhauser's corner kick.
Caldwell outshot Bloomfield 15-3 and held the advantage in shots on goal 12-1. The Cougars also held the advantage in corner kicks 9-0.

Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) recorded one save.
The Cougars travel to Wilmington University for a CACC contest on Saturday, October 19 at 12:00 pm.
