CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to South Division leader Georgian Court University 3-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.

The Cougars fall to 7-13 overall and 5-3 in the CACC, while the Lions improve to 15-5 and 6-2 in conference play.

Georgian Court won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-23. Caldwell battled back to take the third set 25-23 but fell in the fourth set 25-18.

Sophomore
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) led the way with 19 kills and four digs. Junior
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) tallied 16 kills and three digs, while junior
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) tallied 11 kills, two blocks and 11 digs.

Katie Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) added four kills and three blocks, while sophomore
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) finished with 49 assists and seven digs. Sophomore
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) totaled 17 digs. Â
