CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team came up short to Holy Family University 3-2 in overtime in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars fall to 1-9-0 overall and 1-5-0 in the CACC, while the Tigers improve to 5-6-0 and 3-3-0 in conference play.
Caldwell got on the board in the 13th minute as freshman
Andre Vieira (Union, N.J.) netted the first goal off an assist from junior
Thomas Santana (Carmo do Rio Claro, Brazil) for an early 1-0 lead.
Holy Family battled back to tie the score at 1-1 midway through the opening half.
The Cougars answered in the 57th minute as sophomore
Andrea Rizzi (Aosta, Italy) scored on a free kick from junior
Sander Golmen (Lier, Norway) to retake a one-goal lead.
The Tigers netted the tying goal in the 81st minute to force overtime. Holy Family scored the game-winner in the third minute of overtime.

The Cougars host Bloomfield College in a CACC contest on Wednesday, October 16 at 3:30 pm.
