CALDWELL, N.J- Caldwell University men's basketball junior
Ned Ogoemesim (Westampton, N.J.) netted 13 points as the Cougars fell to Dominican College 67-55 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 7-8 overall and 3-3 in the CACC, while the Chargers improve to 10-3 and 5-0 in conference play.

AJ Kittles (Glassboro, N.J.) and freshman
Anthony Cooper (Ashburn, Va.) each netted three-pointers as the Cougars overcame an early deficit to hold a 16-13 lead near the midway point of the first half. Dominican retook the lead but Kittles converted a three-point play to put Caldwell back in front 21-18 with 8:36 to play in the half.
The Chargers scored the next seven points to pull ahead as they pushed ahead 31-25 late in the half. Junior
Vaughn Covington (Sicklerville, N.J.) connected on a bucket at the buzzer as the Cougars trailed 31-27 at the half.
Ogoemesim netted an early basket to start the second half but the Chargers pushed their lead double-digits at the 14:37 mark. Ogoemesim scored a bucket, while senior
Ahmad Harrison (Newark, N.J.) added a free throw to trim the score to eight points. Dominican rallied to push their lead to double digits and led the rest of the way.
Ogoemesim led the way with 13 points, six boards and three steals. Kittles totaled 11 points and six boards, while Harrison chipped in five assists and two steals.
The Cougars travel to Goldey-Beacom College for a CACC match-up on Saturday, January 12 at 3:00 pm.
