ALBANY, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team fell to The College of Saint Rose 6-0 in a non-conference clash.
The Cougars fall to 1-2-0, while the Golden Knights improve to 2-0-1.
Saint Rose took the early lead with a pair of first half goals. The Golden Knights added four goals in the second half as they outshot Caldwell 17-10 for the game.
Juniors
Amber Raines (Millville, N.J.) and
Meghan Grundhauser (Easton, Pa.) along with sophomore
Teaghan Darling (Forked River, N.J.) each posted two shots each.
Freshman
Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) registered three saves in the game.
Caldwell opens Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Saturday, September 8 as the Cougars host Wilmington University at noon in their home opener.
