BLOOMFIELD, N.J- Caldwell University men's soccer senior
Joaquin Escudero (San Sebastian, Spain) netted a goal and an assist to help lead the Cougars to a 2-1 over Bloomfield College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest
The Cougars win their third in a row to improve to 3-5-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the CACC, while the Bears fall to 0-7-0 and 0-5-0 in conference play.
Bloomfield took the early lead with a goal in the 24th minute of the game.
Caldwell answered six minutes later as Escudero netted the equalizer off a free kick in the 30th minute.
The Cougars added the go-ahead goal midway through the second half. Graduate
Martin Djikanovic (Podgorica, Montenegro) put Caldwell up 2-1 off an assist from Escudero.
Sophomore
Nils Svere (Lier, Norway) recorded four saves to help Caldwell win their third game in a row.
The Cougars travel to Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday, September 29 for a CACC game at 3:30 pm.
