CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team lost to Holy Family University 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
The Cougars fall to 5-10 overall and 4-2 in the CACC, while the Tigers improve to 11-5 and 5-1 in conference play.
Holy Family won the match in three straight sets, 25-15, 25-7 and 25-13.
Sophomore
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) totaled four kills, four digs and two aces. Freshman
Olivia Bellamy (Davison, Mich.) added four kills and one block for the Cougars.
Freshman
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) netted six digs, while freshman
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) recorded eight assists and four digs. Freshman
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with seven digs.
The Cougars travel to Post University on Tuesday, September 25 for a North Division contest at 7 pm.
