CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's soccer senior 
Carlyn Salus (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) netted a goal and an assist to help lead the Cougars to a 3-1 win over Felician University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
 
The Cougars improve to 4-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons fall to 1-5-0 and 1-3-0 in conference play.
 
Felician struck first as they netted a goal in the fifth minute of play to take a 1-0 lead.
 
Caldwell answered in the 23rd minute as junior 
Katie Iannuzzi (Bloomingdale, N.J.) scored on an assist from Salus.
 
Junior 
Meghan Grundhauser (Easton, Pa.) put the Cougars in the lead with a successful penalty kick in the 29th minute to give Caldwell a 2-1 lead at halftime.
 
Salus added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute to push the Caldwell lead to 3-1.
 
Freshman 
Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) recorded one save in the win.   
 
The Cougars host Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 am as part of Homecoming Weekend 2018.
