Box Score CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team opened their 2018 with a 4-3 loss to Holy Family  in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
 
The Cougars open the season at 0-1, while the Tigers improve to 1-0.
 
Junior Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) swept her match at #1 singles 6-0, 6-0. Freshman Kiana Wiggins (Washington, N.J.) won at #2 singles 6-2, 6-3, while freshman Lauryn Schwint (Sparta, N.J.) posted a 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 win at #3 singles.
 
Wiggins and Schwint fell at #1 doubles 7-6 (7-4) and Jimenez and senior Nina Griffin (Pitman, N.J.) came up short at #2 doubles 7-6 (7-5).
 
The Cougars travel to Concordia College on Tuesday, September 18 for a CACC match at 3 pm.
