BRONXVILLE, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team fell to Concordia College 7-0 in their season opening match.
 
The Cougars fall to 0-1, while the Clippers improve to 5-0.
 
Junior Kiana Wiggins (Washington, N.J.) battled at #1 singles and came up short 6-4, 6-2. Junior Lauryn Schwint (Sparta, N.J.) fall at #2 singles 6-0, 6-0, while junior Anne Ilardi (Oak Ridge, N.J.) lost at #3 singles 6-1, 6-0. Junior Venisse Abanilla (Belleville, N.J.) fell short at #4 singles 6-0, 6-0.
 
Wiggins and Abanilla lost at #1 doubles 6-0, while Schwint and Ilardi fell at #2 doubles 6-0.
 
The Cougars travel to Molloy College for a non-conference match Tuesday, April 20 at 3:30 pm.
