WATERBURY, Conn.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell to Post University 4-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
The Cougars fall to 0-4-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the CACC, while the Eagles improve to 3-3-0 and 2-0-0 in conference play.
The Eagles took the early lead with a pair of first half goals for a 2-0 halftime advantage.
Post added a goal early in the second half but the Cougars responded near the midway point. Junior
Erlend Aase (Bergen, Norway) scored off an assist from freshman
Martin Muller (Bergen, Norway) in the 75th minute.
The Eagles added a late tally for the final goal differential.
Sophomore
Nils Svere (Lier, Norway) recorded four saves in 87 minutes. Junior
Anthony Tirri (Colonia, N.J.) closed out the final 2+ minutes in the net.
Caldwell travel to Molloy College on Thursday, September 13 for a non-conference game at 7 pm.
