LANTANA, Fla.- The Caldwell University baseball team came up short to Stonehill College 4-3 on day two of their Florida trip.

The Cougars fall to 0-2, while the Skyhawks improve to 7-6.

Stonehill took the early lead with a run in the first inning. Caldwell battled back in the second as sophomore
Jack Zosulis (East Windsor, N.J.) drew a leadoff walk and moved to third on an error. Senior
Kevin Goldman (Valley Stream, N.Y.) tied the game at 1-1 with a single to score Zosulis.

The Skyhawks retook the lead with a run in the third inning to push ahead 2-1. Caldwell pulled even in the sixth as junior
Quintin Quartararo (Lakewood, N.J.) drew a leadoff walk. He moved to second on a groundout and scored on a run scoring single by senior

Stonehill added a run in the eighth to go back in front 3-2. The Cougars rallied back in the top half of the ninth inning as graduate
Michael Bernstein (Staten Island, N.Y.) led off with a double. Zosulis singled to move Bernstein to third. Zosulis moved to second on a fielder's choice and scored on a single by senior
Daniel Gregor (Monroe, N.J.) to tie the game at three.

The Skyhawks recorded a pair of doubles in the bottom of the ninth to win the game.

Raymond Ramos (Bloomfield, N.J.) took the loss as he tossed 1+ innings, allowing one run on one hit. Freshman
