CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team defeated Queens College 3-1 in a non-conference match.
The Cougars improve to 12-16 overall, while the Knights fall to 1-23.
Caldwell took the first two sets 25-14 and 25-21. Queens won the third set 25-22 but the Cougars closed out the match with a 25-15 win in set four.
Freshman
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) posted 17 kills, six digs and two aces, while freshman
Madison Day (Rockledge, Fla.) added 10 kills and three digs. Freshman
Demetria Gary (Savannah, Ga.) totaled seven kills, while senior
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) posted five kills.
Sophomore
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) netted three kills and five aces, while freshman
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) recorded 29 assists and eight digs. Freshman
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) tallied 21 digs and two aces.
The Cougars travel to Concordia College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match on Wednesday, October 31 at 6 pm.
