LAKEWOOD, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to Georgian Court University 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
The Cougars fall to 10-16 overall and 9-7 in the CACC, while the Lions improve to 17-8 and 13-3 in conference play.
The Lions won the first set 25-11 and won the next two sets 25-14 and 25-18.
Freshman
Elise Smith (O'Fallon, Ill.) tallied eight kills, two blocks and three digs. Sophomore
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) chipped in three kills and two blocks, while sophomore
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) netted three kills.
Freshman
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) totaled nine assists and three digs, while senior
Alyssa Ayala (Wantagh, N.Y.) posted six assists and seven digs. Freshman
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with nine digs.
The Cougars host Post University in a CACC match on Saturday, October 27 at noon.
