LAKEWOOD, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team came up short 3-2 to Georgian Court University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars fall to 8-4-1 overall and 7-2-1 in the CACC, while the Lions improve to 10-3-0 and 9-0-0 in conference play.

The Lions retook the lead as they netted a goal in the first minute of the second half. Caldwell answered four minutes later to even the score at 2-2. Senior

Georgian Court took the lead in the 70th minute on a penalty kick as the Lions held off the Cougars down the stretch.

Jamie-Lee Bamford (Braintree, United Kingdom) finished with six saves for the Cougars.
The Cougars host Dominican College on Tuesday, October 16 in a CACC clash at 3:30 pm at Caldwell Field, which will be the program's "Green Game" to promote mental health awareness.
