LAKEWOOD, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell to Georgian Court University 5-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
 
The Cougars fall to 5-8-1 overall and 5-4-1 in the CACC, while the Lions improve to 12-2-0 and 8-1-0 in conference play.
 
Georgian Court netted one goal in the first half as they held a 1-0 halftime advantage. The Lions netted four goals in the second half.
 
Sophomore Kevin Avila (Newark, N.J.) recorded two of the Cougars four shots on the goal in the game.
 
Sophomore Nils Svere (Lier, Norway) totaled seven saves in the game.
 
The Cougars host Dominican College on Wednesday, October 17 for a CACC contest at 3:30 pm at Caldwell Field.
