PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team fell to Chestnut Hill College 9-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
 
The Cougars fall to 2-5 and 0-4 in the CACC, while the Griffins improve to 1-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
 
Senior Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) fell at #1 singles 8-4, while sophomore Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) lost at #2 singles 8-1. Senior Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla.) came up short at #3 singles, while senior Claudia Romano (Salerno, Italy) fell at #4 singles 8-0.
 
Jimenez and Donaldson fell at #1 doubles 8-2, while Otarola and Romano lost at #2 doubles 8-2.
 
The Cougars travel to Holy Family University on Monday, October 2 for a 3 pm CACC match.
