CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team lost to Post University 8-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
 
The Cougars fall to 2-4 and 0-3 in the CACC, while the Eagles improve to 5-1 and 2-0 in conference play.
 
In singles play, senior Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) fell at #1 singles 4-6, 6-0, 5-7. Senior Rebecca Ryan (Berkeley Heights, N.J) came up short at #2 singles 1-6, 6-2, 5-7. Sophomore Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) earned the Cougars lone win with a 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 win at #3 singles.
 
Otarola and Ryan fell at #1 doubles 8-2, while Jimenez and senior Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla.) lost at #2 doubles 8-5.
 
The Cougars travel to Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, September 30 for a CACC clash at noon.
