CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team came up short to Holy Family University 2-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.
The Cougars fall to 3-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the CACC, while the Tigers improve to 6-1-0 and 3-1-0 in conference play.
Holy Family got on the board in the 19th minute to take the early lead. Caldwell outshot the Tigers in the first half 7-5.
The Tigers added a goal in the second half as they scored off a penalty kick rebound. For the game, shots were even at 12.
Sophomore
Daniela Lucca (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) recorded two saves in net.
The Cougars are back in action on Tuesday, September 26 as they host Post University in a CACC clash at 4 pm.
