CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell to Concordia College 12-4 in a non-conference game. The Cougars fall to 12-24 overall, while the Clippers improve to 7-28.

The Cougars got on the board in the opening inning as junior
Kevin Goldman (Valley Stream, N.Y.) was hit by a pitch and later stole second. Senior
Michael Bernstein (Staten Island, N.Y.) drew a walk with Goldman and Bernstein pulling off a double steal to put runners at second and third. Freshman
Jack Zosulis (East Windsor, N.J.) hit a sacrifice fly to give Caldwell a 1-0 lead.

Concordia took the lead in the second with a pair of runs. The Clippers added a run in the third and three in the fourth to extend to a 6-1 lead. Caldwell got a run in the fourth as junior
Daniel Gregor (Monroe, N.J.) reached second on a two-base error by the shortstop. Gregor moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly by senior
Ryan Rivera (Saddle Brook, N.J.).

The Clippers added four runs in the sixth and pushed across a pair of runs in the seventh inning. Caldwell got a run in the seventh as freshman
Andrew Ferrara (Mt. Arlington, N.J.) drew a leadoff walk. He eventually came around to score on a single by sophomore
Anthony Frascati (Bloomfield, N.J.). In the eighth, Rivera drew a walk to start the inning. Ferrara doubled to the left-center gap to drive in Rivera.

Zach Endersby (Caldwell, N.J.) tossed 1 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on two hits to fall to 0-3. Freshman
Nick Cerbone (Bayonne, N.J.) pitched 1 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits, while freshman
Raymond Ramos (Bloomfield, N.J.) tossed three innings, allowing four runs on two hits. Senior
Dorion Williams (Montville, N.J.) pitched 2/3 of an inning, allowing two runs on one hit, while junior
Christopher Cerf (Ramsey, N.J.) tossed the final 2 1/3 innings, allowing one hit.
