ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell to Molloy College 9-1 in a non-conference game. The Cougars fall to 8-18 overall, while the Lions improve to 12-18.

Molloy took the early lead as they scored three runs in the first and second innings. The Lions added two runs in the third and added one in the fourth inning.

Caldwell was limited to six hit in the game senior
Michael Bernstein (Staten Island, N.Y.) and junior
William Levier (Monroe Township, N.J.) each went 2-for-4.

The Cougars got their run in the ninth Bernstein doubled to lead off the inning. Sophomore
Anthony Frascati (Bloomfield, N.J.) ripped a two-out single to score Bernstein with the lone run of the game.

Freshman
Nick Cerbone (Bayonne, N.J.) tossed 1 1/3 innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits to fall to 0-1. Freshman
Jason Salva (West Haverstraw, N.Y.) pitched one inning, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and struck out two. Freshman
Raymond Ramos (Bloomfield, N.J.) tossed 4 2/3 innings in relief, allowing one unearned run on three hits and struck out two. Junior
Dorion Williams (Montville, N.J.) tossed one scoreless inning and registered two strikeouts.
