LANTANA, Fla.- The Caldwell University baseball team dropped their first game of the season as they fell in a non-conference game 12-3 to Felician University.

The Cougars fall to 1-1 on the season, while the Golden Falcons improve to 7-5.

Felician built a 6-0 lead into the eighth innings. Caldwell added their runs in the final two innings.

Ryan Rivera (Saddle Brook, N.J.) doubled home junior
Rob DeSanti (Barneget, N.J.) in the bottom of the eighth for the first Caldwell run of the game.

Andrew Ferrara (Mt. Arlington, N.J.) with a single with junior
Dustin Walicky (Belleville, N.J.) scoring on the play. Sophomore
Otto Fricker (Charlotte, N.C.) recorded an RBI single for Caldwell in the inning.

Justin Picinic (River Vale, N.J.) tossed six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and struck out two to fall to 0-1 on the season. Senior
Zach Endersby (Caldwell, N.J.) pitched two innings, allowing four runs on six hits. Freshman
Raymond Ramos (Bloomfield, N.J.) tossed 1/3 of an inning, allowing three runs (two earned). Freshman
John Franco (Great Meadows, N.J.) record the final two outs and gave up three unearned runs.

The Cougars take on Southern Connecticut St. University on Saturday, March 11 at 3 pm at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
