NYACK, N.Y.- Caldwell University women's basketball junior
Kristen Drogsler (Middle Village, N.Y.) tallied a game-high 26 points as the Cougars defeated Nyack College 82-60 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
The Cougars improve to 19-4 overall and 14-1 in the CACC, while the Warriors fall to 3-19 and 2-14 in conference play.
Nyack scored the first six points to take an early advantage. Caldwell ripped off the next 12 points to take the lead. Junior

Antoinette Pilla (Scarsdale, N.Y.) each drained triples to put the Cougars in front with 4:14 left in the opening quarter.
The Warriors cut the score to 14-13 but Caldwell finished the quarter with a 10-0 run. Drogsler and sophomore
Andie Lennon (Secaucus, N.J.) each netted five points over the final three minutes of the quarter to lead 24-13.
The Cougars pushed their lead to 21 points midway through the second quarter to take control of the game. Caldwell continued their outstanding first half as they held a 50-27 lead at halftime. Drogsler led the way with 17 first-half points.
Caldwell maintained their double-digit lead into the second half. The Cougars outscored the Warriors in the third quarter 16-13 to take a 66-40 lead heading into the final quarter. Caldwell held their lead into the fourth quarter for their 19th victory of the season.
Drogsler tallied 26 points, five rebounds, five assists and three blocks in the win. Pilla chipped in 11 points, two rebounds and three assists. Lennon shot 3-for-7 from downtown as she finished with 14 points, three boards, four assists and two steals. Sanders posted nine points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals.
The Cougars travel to Philadelphia University on Saturday, February 11 for a CACC match-up at 2 pm.
