PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- Caldwell University women's volleyball senior
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) netted 11 kills as the Cougars fell to Pace University 3-0 in a non-conference match.
The Cougars fall to 19-7 overall, while the Setters improve to 13-15.
Caldwell fell in the opening set 25-22 and lost the final two sets 25-17 and 25-21.
Auyong chipped in 13 digs and two aces, while senior
Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) totaled 12 kills and eight digs.
Freshman
Marina Schlaepfer (Aurora, Colo.) finished with four kills and six digs, while senior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) led the team with 21 digs. Senior
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) netted 19 assists, while junior
Alyssa Ayala (Wantagh, N.Y.) posted 10 assists and seven digs.
The Cougars host Dominican College on Saturday, November 4 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at noon.
