CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team defeated Goldey-Beacom College 3-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship Quarterfinals. The Cougars advance to the CACC Championship semifinals this weekend hosted by Wilmington University.

The Cougars improve to 23-7 and will face South #2 Holy Family University in the semifinals on Saturday. The Lightning end their season a 12-19.

Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) led the Cougars with 13 kills, two blocks and seven digs, while senior
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) chipped in four kills and 11 digs. Sophomore
Avery Stanechewski (Tampa, Fla.) posted four kills and four blocks, while sophomore
Kathleen Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) finished with five kills.

Chiara Chiappalone (Vecchiano, Italy) added four kills, while senior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) led the team with 15 digs. Senior
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) tallied 16 assists, three aces and five digs, while junior
Alyssa Ayala (Wantagh, N.Y.) contributed 11 assists and five digs.

The Cougars will face the South #2 seed Holy Family on Saturday, November 18 at 3:30 pm in the CACC Championship Semifinals hosted by Wilmington.
