CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's volleyball senior
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) set the program's rally-era kills record in the Cougars 3-0 win over Nyack College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars improve to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in the CACC, while the Warriors fall to 5-16 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
Caldwell took the opening set 25-16 and won the next two sets 25-21 and 25-19.
Auyong recorded seven kills in the match to pass Caldwell alumna Susan McDonough on the all-time kills list in the rally scoring era. McDonough played for the Cougars from 2009-12 and finished her career with 1,226 kills. Auyong ended the match with 1,227 kills in her four seasons with the Cougars.

Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) totaled 15 kills, four blocks and eight digs. Sophomore
Kathleen Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) chipped in eight kills and seven total blocks (one solo).
Freshman
Chloe Kissner (Seabrook, Texas) posted six kills, eight digs, two aces ad three blocks. Senior
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) finished with 19 assists and five digs, while junior
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) totaled 19 assists and three blocks. Senior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) tallied 14 digs and two aces.
The Cougars return to action on Saturday, October 7 as they host USciences in a CACC match at 4:30 pm at the Newman Center.
