BRONXVILLE, N.Y.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw against Concordia College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars move to 5-8-2 overall and 3-5-1 in the CACC, while the Clippers stand at 4-8-1 and 2-7-1 in conference play.
Concordia took the early lead as they scored their goal in the tenth minute of play. Caldwell held the first half edge in shots 3-2.
Caldwell netted the equalizer late in the second half to force overtime. Sophomore
Tobias Block (AAhus, Sweden) scored the tying goal in the 83
rd minute off an assist from freshman
Alessandro Canino (Parma, Italy).
The Clippers held the shot advantage between the two overtimes 4-3 but neither team score as the game ended tied at one.
Freshman
Nils Svere (Lier, Norway) tallied four saves in the game.
The Cougars host Goldey-Beacom College in a CACC match-up on Saturday, October 21 at 11 am at Caldwell Field.
