CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team concluded their 2017 season on Sunday with a 7-2 loss to Daemen College.
 
The Cougars end their season at 3-9, while the Wildcats improve to 8-7.
 
Senior Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) fell at #1 singles 8-4 while sophomore Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) came up short at #3 singles 6-3, 6-2.
 
Senior Rebecca Ryan (Berkeley Heights, N.J) won the lone singles match for Caldwell as she posted a 7-5, 6-4 win at #2 singles.
 
Otarola and Ryan took the win at #1 doubles 8-6. Jimenez and senior Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla.) fell 8-2 win at #2 doubles.
