ORANGEBURG, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's tennis fell to St. Thomas Aquinas College 7-2 in a non-conference match. The Spartans improve to 3-4 overall, while the Cougars fall to 3-3.

Caldwell won a win in singles and one win in doubles. In singles, junior Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) earned the win at the #3 slot 6-4, 4-6, 10-3.

In doubles action, freshman Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) and junior Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla.) won their match 9-7 at #2 doubles.

The Cougars return to the court on Saturday, September 24 as they host USciences as part of Homecoming Weekend. Their match begins at 12:30 pm.
