CALDWELL, N.J.- Junior
Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) led the Cougars with 14 kills to lead the Caldwell University women's volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep against Nyack College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play. The Cougars improve to 8-5 overall and 1-2 in the CACC, while the Warriors fall to 3-8 and 2-1 in conference play.
Caldwell took the match in the straight sets as they won 25-8, 25-15 and 25-17.
Janssen totaled 14 kills along with one block. Junior
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) chipped in seven kills and nine digs, while freshman
Avery Stanechewski (Tampa, Fla.) posted six kills and four total blocks. Junior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) led the Caldwell with 12 digs.

Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) recorded 13 assists, two aces and four digs, while sophomore
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) finished with four kills, 14 assists and five digs.
Caldwell is back in action on Saturday, September 24 as they host Chestnut Hill College as part of homecoming weekend. The Cougars and the Griffins tip off their match at 4:30 pm at the Newman Center.
