MIDDLEBURY, Conn.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team fell in their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opener 7-2 to Post University, which currently ranks eighth in the East Region.

The Cougars fall to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the CACC, while the Eagles improve to 2-0 and 1-0 in conference play.

Caldwell earned both of their wins in singles play. Junior Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) won her match at #4 singles 3-6, 6-0 and 13-11. Junior Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla.) posted a win at #5 singles 6-0 and 6-4.

The Cougars travel to Old Westbury, NY for a non-conference match against NYIT on Saturday, September 17 at 3 pm.
